Our story

Nobody dreams of owning a driving school.

This one was built by someone who didn't dream of it either — and then figured out how to do it right, so the next owner wouldn't have to learn it all the hard way.

It started the way most real businesses do — not with a dream, but with a problem nobody had solved well.

A frustrated parent. A kitchen-table conversation. A $550 driving lesson that felt like it should have been worth more. What began as an attempt to fix an ordinary frustration turned into something bigger: a driving school, and then the slow, unglamorous work of making it genuinely good.

"We weren't looking for an opportunity. We were looking for a solution."

The lessons didn't come from a seminar. They came from real students, real instructors, and real families — from the seasons that didn't look like success, and the systems that finally made the school run without depending on any one person. Over time, that work grew into a regional training organization, a learning app, and a network of driving schools across Ohio.

Everything was written down along the way — what worked, what didn't, and why. That record became the book, Nobody Dreams of Owning a Driving School, and then the six-volume system behind Driving School Founders. The goal was simple: hand the next owner the playbook we wish we'd had on day one.

Champion City Driver's Ed

The founding school. Every method, standard, and form in the Founders system was built, tested, and refined here — with real students and instructors — before it ever became something another owner could use. It's the proof the system works, because it's still lived every day.

Drivers Ed Partners

The hands-on arm. For owners who'd rather have a partner in the trenches than do it all themselves, Drivers Ed Partners works directly with schools to open, fix, and grow — delivering the same system, in person.
